When I first announced that I got this space on Facebook... a friend of mine said she would love for me to share the story. At first I thought...does she know me...I can't write a story to save my life. Then she said something that has stuck with me "it must have taken such guts!" So here it goes:)

Yes it did!! Many sleepless nights, wondering if it was the right decision, how I was going to do it, what I needed to do.

Let's be honest....Do you ever know when you make a decision if it's the right one? You might think you do!

5 years ago Sam and I were flipping through the paper looking for land to move on the West Side...and there it was 20 acres. We pulled up and it immediately felt like home!! We called the bank...make that about 5 banks. Nobody wanted to loan on raw land over 5 acres. I wasn't giving up, it became my job everyday, they would build up walls as to why we could not get a loan and I would tear them down, bout 4 months later...it was ours! We were going after our American dream!! Then it came time to build, with that came a whole other set of issues. At that time we took a step back and reconsidered. We both agreed we did not want to be a slave to our mortgage.

Guess what! We don't live on those 20 acres and never have. They have been for sale for about 3 years! A huge dream that never happened. I ok with it...most days! I'd be lying if I said I don't think about all the things we had plans for, the life we wanted to live, and the way we wanted to raise our children on that land. I mean I wanted goats to mow the lawn and guineas for watch dogs, 4-wheeler rides in the afternoon, hike in the woods in the evening, bon-fires on the weekend....

Which brings me to the past couple of years. We now live in a cozy bungalow. I love it, plenty of unanswered prayers got us to this point in our lives. So while I love it for our family, our family plus a small business got to be too much. I'm not gonna lie, every time I would bring the topic about getting a space Sam would say "man, if we could just sell the property!"
We both knew it would be awesome but much more logic if we could sell the property first. But we don't know when or if it's going to sell anytime soon......

I wasn't going to let that dream take away another!

I mean don't we always think we have made the right decision....up until the moment we realize we haven't. All I'm saying is I never want to live my life asking WHAT IF...rather I try to live it as WHY IN THE HELL NOT?

I would much rather go down for trying than to not try at all:)

Without further ado....on with the photos:) You have to know I adore all things Pretty:) I tried to fit as much of ME into this space as I could;) I just have a few more finishing details to do.















Thank you Sam! Thank you for everything. Thank you for helping me paint, hanging my pictures, moving furniture, hanging my new lights and allowing me to buy this couch even though you thought it was ugly. Above and Foremost...Thank you for believing in ME!

Thank you Dad & MOM! Thank you teaching me to go after my dreams and for showing me that hard work really does get you where you want to go. Thank you for helping me clean and paint. Thank you for being my biggest fans!

I also wanted to Thank each and everyone of my clients...Thank you for being YOU and allowing me to be ME and capturing your life!
